Each year we hold the Cumbrian Poker Player of the Year Live & Online Competitions plus give away thousands in cash and prizes to our valued members. Throughout 2008 we are holding private tournaments online, the tournaments take place fortnightly on a Tuesday Night and begin on Tuesday the 29th of January, these games are for members of Cumbrian poker only.
The cost to enter is just $22 around £12.
There's cash and extra prizes up for grabs each time plus finish in the top 10 to earn valuable leader board points. Players will need a password to play these tournaments which is always the same. If you need it please email us asap. info@cumbrianpoker.co.uk |

Synonymous with holding some of the greatest events on Earth and many being the pinnacle of any players career is winning a WPT title.
Watched by millions the World Poker Tours televised events have helped to fuel the poker boom and are responsible for many of the biggest names taking up the game we all know and love.

Sunday 13th July - Haverigg Prison Officers Club 100 seats available - 3pm Start.
Sunday 20th July - Egremont Rugby Union Football Club - only 50 seats available so please act fast - 2pm start
Sunday 27th July - Egremont Rugby League Club - again only 50 seats so be quick - 2pm Start.
Friday 1st August - Whitehaven Golf Club - 70 Seats available at this very popular venue, sold out every time we have been here so get your tickets asap - 7pm Start.
Sunday 10th August - Whitehaven Amateurs FC - 1st time venue but should be a great event - 2pm Start.
Sunday 17th August - The Haven Club, Whitehaven. Richard Todd Benefit Tournament - 100 seats available - 2pm Start.
Sunday 24th August - Cons Club, Egremont - My personal favorite venue 100 seats up for grabs but please be quick. 2pm Start
Sunday 7th September - The Haven Club, Whitehaven - In aid of Macmillan Nurses - 100 seats - 2pm Start.

All Live games except Vegas Qualifiers and the Pub Poker Leagues follow the exact same format and raise much needed funds for local charities, clubs and organizations. Please see the LIVE GAMES PAGE for more info.
Charities and clubs being helped at the above games include: St Bees Life Boat, The Palliative Care unit, Wath Brow Youth Fund, Kells International Fund, The British Heart Foundation, Newcastle Intensive Care unit, Cenacolo and more.

* rebuys are charitable donations and are as such donated to the chosen charity on who's behalf the event is being run. All players are made aware of this before the start of each tournament.
We are a responsible poker club and as such any player who does not look of legal age will be required to produce identification before taking part in any of our poker events. No ID No play.
Please stop asking for cash games after a tournament, this is illegal and we are not prepared to supply you with equipment for you to use for this or any purpose. This is not a casino it is simply a charity poker event.

Please do not play our poker tournament with money you can not afford to lose. these are Charity and club fund raisers, fun events in which you can take part.
Any form of abusive language will not be tolerated.
Any violent conduct will be reported to the police.
Excessive drinking is NOT allowed at any of our live poker tournaments, please be sensible and do not spoil the evening for yourself and others.
All of the above will also along with other action result in banning from all future events ran by Cumbrian Poker.
